I think one reason I watched Episode 27 too many times is because I like seeing the characters' lives outside tennis. We'll begin with Oishi passing by Kawamura Sushi on his way to school. They are talking about getting up early.

Many people like the chibi female Fuji Syusuke from the western episode, but I've never seen a full-length picture of him or her without the ropes. That's why I took screencaps of the top and bottom halves and put them together on Photoshop.

Animals on CD Covers

I've noticed that a few of the PoT CD covers have animals. For example, on the cover of Ichi-Fuji, Ni-Taka, San-Nasu, there is the dorsal fin of a fish in the water and a bird in the sky.

Karupin and Random Animals in Anime
